Destination Wedding in Branson, Missouri
The title sounds a little misleading right? Who the heck has a destination wedding in Branson, Missouri? BUT I am here to tell you that I feel like Branson (Blue Eye, Lampe, Forsyth, all of those little towns surrounding it) is wildly underrated and the absolute perfect place to have a wedding. The Schumann wedding is PROOF! Proof that the area has tons to offer & that people will come to celebrate you even if you're wedding isn't somewhere tropical like Cozumel or ethereal like Oregon or outdoorsy like Colorado!
Elizabeth & Harrison had a full wedding weekend celebration at the Glasshaus Wedding Venue in Blue Eye, Missouri this past June. Glasshaus is a new venue to the area this year but I am positive it is here to stay! They have an indoor and outdoor option with gorgeous natural lighting and a stunner view over Table Rock Lake! They also have little cabins on property to allow family to come and stay, even a cute little honeymoon suite! This let the family come from all over and not have to worry about finding lodging nearby. They had family come from Dallas, Houston, Wyoming, Kansas, all over the US!
Elizabeth wanted both a really laid back & stress free wedding, while also making it a beautiful celebration with all of their loved ones who came to show their support. They had a fun rehearsal dinner and hangout, stunning wedding day with pops of pinks, yellows and oranges, then finished on Sunday with a brunch for all who stayed! I can appreciate the intentionality behind the whole weekend and you could really tell how much they cared about all of their friends & family being there!
I grew up going to Table Rock my whole childhood & went to college in Branson, so the ability to travel back for work and photograph a wedding was so exciting for me! I am really hoping to be able to come back and shoot more weddings in Southwest Missouri and the Ozarks!! The region holds such a space in my heart and is truly one of my favorite places to be no matter how I am spending my time there!!
