Intimate Wedding in Central Arkansas

A fall wedding at St. Johns Chapel by the Creek in Benton, AR

While I love a big wedding that has a elaborate reception and lots of guests, I think that it is safe to say I am obsessed with the more intimate setting for a wedding as well.

Katie & David planned a wedding day with a lot of intention and it shows in the photos. The guest list was just 30 of their family members. After their wedding ceremony, they held a fun reception at the pavillion compete with delicious italian food & a conga line. .One of our favorite details of this wedding day, though, was the intentionality with their family.

One of our favorite moments from this day, other than the sunset photos of the bride and the groom, was getting ready with the bride. Her friends from college were some of the sweetest, most outgoing girls I have had this year. We also had an impromptu first look with her mom during her quick bridal session, mom just sort of rounded the corner and we were there!

Another favorite part of the day was the getaway car at the end of the night!! SO precious!

That may be one of our favorite things about small weddings - it just feels so free from the distractions that can sometime present themselves when there are a lot of guests and a big wedding party.
