Maybe you’re planning a wedding in St. Louis Missouri but don’t want a mainstream venue? Nothing all white, no barns, contemporary isnt really your style? You wish you could get married somewhere that feels like an escape but want to keep it in the city? Olivia on the Hill and the La Verona Marketplace is the place for you!
This venue is definitely one of my favorite venues in the St. Louis, Missouri area & totally underrated.
Lets start with Olivia on the Hill…
Olivia on the Hill
a Tuscan Inspired, intimate wedding venue space right in St. Louis, Missouri you’ll feel like you are in a quaint winery patio in Italy rather than on the Hill near stl. The patio features a cedar pergola and brick paver floors that give such a beautiful clean look. The space seats 80 for a ceremony and can host up to 120 people for a reception. The pergola is covered in vining plants and gives it such a gorgeous greenery feel to it while also keeping it shaded during the summer! They have also decorated the patio with terra cotta pots and clean plants so it is so welcoming.
Rental info
The venues rental package includes exclusive access to the venue, tables, chairs, basic linens, setup, breakdown, and service staff. The aesthetic is completely complementary—from rustic wood accents to romantic lighting—making additional décor optional. This is one of those venues that doesn’t need much or anything at all!
Olivia on the Hill is the perfect wedding ceremony space for those wanting to host a intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, while still getting that amazing, full wedding day experience. Here is a link to their website for all the important info on booking and hosting your wedding at this intimate wedding venue!! Once your ceremony commences you can head right on over to the Verona Marketplace for your reception! It is connected to the space and is an easy walk for your guests. All of the parking is in one location! But first… here are a few favorite shots from my most recent summer wedding at this stl wedding venue! This wedding venue photographs so well & the lighting on this wedding day was perfect!!

La Verona Marketplace
La Verona at the Marketplace intimate wedding venue is located in the Hill neighborhood. The venue was originally built over 100 years ago but they have taken great care of the building! The architecture and surrounding atmosphere combined, leads to the combination of warm, old-world charm and urban feel you get for an industrial event space at La Verona.

It is the ultimate, intimate wedding reception venue option in STL! Inside features a gorgeous long bar for guests to mingle at, couches and comfortable sitting areas that offer a casual, hang out feel for guests to chat in the corners instead of stiff tables. There is plenty of space for a dance floor and a patio which is great for outdoor hanging too! My most recent couple had a gelato cart out on their patio! It was so cute.
