A surprised winter proposal at the sweetest location in Branson!
Chasen reached out to me as a Branson Proposal Photographer a few weeks prior to him & his girlfriends family travel plans to Branson. They were coming to town for their annual holiday vacation from Oklahoma and he knew he wanted to propose on their trip. He had thought long and hard about the location and when he wanted to do it and he had a plan in place, which we love! He knew he wanted to hire a photographer for the moment and I was available!
Chasen and Heather took an annual Christmas Tree picture every year and posted on Instagram. Chasen knew he wanted to propose to Heather when they took their tree picture this year and he was going to do it in front of the giant tree outside of the Sight & Sound Theater! Their tree is huge and absolutely gorgeous decorated and lit up.
When he reached out he knew exactly what he wanted and where he needed me. I agreed to get there right before their show let out that way I could follow them out, nonchalantly of course, and be in place when he popped the question. The biggest hurdle was all the people! I followed at a distance, had my long lense so I didnt have to get too close and blow his cover. He was definitely nervous but he pulled it off so smooth! I was in the perfect position and got all the shots when he got down on one knee!
Heather was so surprised and her family was so excited. There was a few moments of celebration and then we stepped off to the side of the building for a few engagement pics! Every single proposal I photograph I love to take a few moments at the end to grab some classic engagement pictures!
